How do I nail my first podcast interview?

Now, whether you're experienced at podcasting or you're just starting to think about whether this is a strategy that you want to incorporate into growing your business, today's episode is for you.

The key thing that you want to be thinking about when you get invited to be a podcast guest is that first and foremost, your number one goal is to add incredible value.

And it is really all about the content. It's all about making your audience say, wow, and your job is to really make the podcast host look good.

Because if you do that, there's going to be some specific and tangible outcomes that happen for you as the guest.

Number one, you'll get invited back.

Number two, you'll get introduced to other awesome podcast hosts. It's going to build your web of influence.

It's going to increase your authority and celebrity in your niche and field.

And it's going to help you start building key relationships that are going to help you build and grow your business.

And then thirdly, it's going to help you to connect with your audience.

It's going to help you build your list because if you add incredible value and people are really following what it is that you're sharing,

they're going to be raising their hand. They're going to opt in and they're going to want that free offer that you're going to be given the opportunity to share.

So when you start going into podcasts interviewing, again, your mindset and your focus is on serving, not selling.

But if you focus on serving and you do a great job of that, the outcome and result ultimately will be that you will sell more.

Now podcasting is just like anything else. There's no silver bullet and there's no shortcuts. It takes time, practice and repetition to really turn being a podcast guest into a profitable income stream in your business.

You have to do it consistently and ongoing and constantly be improving if you want to see some really outstanding results.

Now, I've outlined here for you today some of the biggest keys that are going to make you a killer podcast guest and what you can do to make sure that you pull it off flawlessly, get invited back, get lots of opt-ins from your episode going live and build some key relationships that are going to help you grow your business.
