Hey everybody. Welcome back to the 12th6 podcast. I'm your host, Colin McHugh, coming to you from the alternate reality that is COVID quarantine. That's right. Many of you have probably experienced

this at some point in the last, I don't know, 24 months. And while I don't have it yet, the waiting

game is not much better. So before we all go collectively insane, let's take a moment to remember

why we are doing this. Empathy. That's right. The old therapy word that we all think we're decent at,

empathy is the ability to put yourself in someone else's shoes, even for a moment.

COVID is probably less scary than it was a year or two ago. We have vaccines. We have boosters.

But it is wreaking terrible havoc on those who won't and most importantly can't defend themselves from

it. So a reminder to all of us if we can get vaccinated, get boosted, wear a mask indoors,

and let's just be kind to all those wonderful strangers around you. Today's guest was one of those

wonderful strangers to me until I had the good fortune to

play with him this past season in Tampa. Tampa Bay Ray's pitcher Tyler Glassnow. We're friends,
