Hey everybody. Welcome back to the 12th 6th podcast. I'm your host, Colin McHugh. Baseball is dead.

Just kidding. Baseball is stalled? I don't know. We're locked out by the owners currently,

and this is the first work stoppage in the last 28 years. Maybe you've heard about it,

maybe you haven't, but I can assure you, the closer we get to spring training, the more it will

find its way into your timelines and into your hearts. So, here is my PSA. The game you know and love is not under attack,

not from greedy players, and controversially, not actively under attack by greedy owners either.

Labor disputes have marked nearly every major advancement in nearly every major industry in America

over the last 120 years. I have no doubt that we will all come out of this with a better version of the game that we love so dearly.

Patience, friends. Patience.

That being said, I'm very excited about today's guest.

He literally made me jump out of my chair and fist pump in the playoffs this year.

His story is a winding one, like so many of us,

but currently sits in the fairy tale category, which is unique. He's my former teammate and friend

reliever for the Atlanta Braves, Tyler Matzick. We talked about being a prospect,

getting and getting over the yips, which we will explain later, and what it's like to get arrested at a

World Series parade. He's funny, he's real, and I hope you enjoyed today's conversation as much

as I did with Tyler Matzik.

You are obviously one of the heroes of the playoffs.

You're bringing the World Series back to Atlanta.

People are very excited about that.
