0:48.9 | Well, I think there's two reasons. |
0:50.7 | One, I constantly meet families that, let's just say, have had some challenges like |
0:56.3 | parenting with some kids that have been, well, let's just say a little active. And for a while, |
1:02.3 | I was sort of the poster child for ADHD, and I guess I sort of still am in many ways because, |
1:07.8 | well, I show the success that like anybody who has these challenges can find a way |
1:12.5 | to really focus on something and get something done. I mean, let's face it, I've been |
1:16.7 | working with power tools for years and still have all my digits and philangies, which is |
1:21.3 | impressive, you know, about ADHD. So, yeah, I think half that. And probably the second part is is I recently had to start sort of looking after my mother and sort of looking at that sort of life coming full circle. And I think she always wanted to write a book sort of about ADHD because like I said, literally one of the first chapters of the book after you jump in because of course I wrote a book |
1:44.5 | in the way a person with ADHD would and I literally told the publishers that's how I wanted to. |
1:48.8 | I wanted to start in the middle just in chaos and then jump around to chapter five and then |
1:53.2 | seven and then eventually go by two chapter one because that's how people tell stories when you're |
