Ephesians chapter two, we are continuing through the Bible,

Here in Ephesians two, Paul says in verse one,

and you hath he quickened who were dead in trespasses and sins.

Let's break this down before we keep reading because there's a difference between trespasses

and sin.

Sin makes you dead.

You and I were born in death, the Bible says.

Dead to God. Dead to spiritual life, just spiritually dead. And Jesus said, you must be born again. And that is a spiritual sort of
