A research assistant position is available at the FDA in the laboratory of Amy Rosenfeld.

The focus of research in the Rosenfeld laboratory in the center for biologics, evaluation,

and review of the FDA is to elucidate the mechanisms by which cross species anti-antroviruses

antibodies may affect virus pathogenesis. The research assistant will support the work

on pecornaviruses such as antroviruses D68, polio virus and human rhinoviruses, which includes

genetic biochemical and cell-based studies for understanding multiple aspects of immune dysfunction

associated with virus infection. The individual will carry out experiments in cell culture and

participate in the development of small animal models for studying multiple aspects of virus infection,

including the tissue, the tissue-specific cellular immune response. While work will be carried out
