0:52.0	Thank you Vincent. We actually did some of your work on TWIV with Nell Zell the years ago.
1:00.8	We always wanted to have you on that podcast. When I thought since I was here, I would stop in,
1:06.2	so thanks for spending the time. I'm coming back through your roots.
1:11.9	Yeah, my roots. But you know, when I was here, I had no idea, I would be a scientist.
1:16.1	I didn't know what I wanted to do. What major were you? That was a biology major. Yeah.
1:21.9	But I graduated with no plans, so I figured it out. I figured it out. But this is about you. So
1:29.1	tell me your history. You're from France and from the southwest of France. Which city? To lose.
1:36.2	To lose. Okay. Yeah. This is where I was born. This is where I grew up. This is where I did my
1:42.2	undergraduate studies. Biology too. But actually, my passion at the time was where
1:49.7	focused on bugs, insects. I wanted to study insect behavior. It was really interesting and social
1:56.5	insects. Because there was a group studying these, but I know I wasn't really sure that I wanted to
2:03.6	do research in academia or any other settings. I just was not thinking also very deeply about this.
2:11.5	But I was naturalist. Really, that's what drove me into what we do now. Actually,
2:18.9	looking at creatures, out in nature, thinking about them, collecting them, collected insects.
2:24.5	So this was just a childhood interest in sex, right? Yeah, insects. One day was insects.
2:31.3	Another day would be birds or snakes. You know, be like, you know, the animal world. I really like this.
