| 0:00.0 | Welcome to One Minute Scripter Study, a Come Follow Me podcast. |
| 0:05.0 | We are your host, Kristen Walker-Smith and Callie Black. |
| 0:09.3 | Hey, it's Callie Black here with today's thought. Let's open up to Moses chapter 7, verse 13. |
| 0:16.4 | When he was first called, Enoch was very hesitant to accept the Lord's invitation to preach the gospel. |
| 0:25.0 | One of the reasons that he gave was that he was, quote, slow of speech. |
| 0:31.6 | However, the Lord reassured him and Enick finally accepted the call. |
| 0:37.0 | But this is why I love these words describing |
| 0:41.9 | Enoch at the end of his ministry. This is in Moses chapter 7, verse 13. Remember at the beginning, |
| 0:49.1 | he said, I don't know if I can do this. I'm slow with speech. Now this is a description of Enoch |
| 0:53.6 | by the end. And so great was a description of Enoch by the end. |
| 0:55.5 | And so great was the faith of Enoch that he led the people of God and their enemies came to battle against them. |
| 1:01.3 | And he spake the word of the Lord and the earth trembled and the mountains fled even according to his command. |
| 1:10.7 | And the rivers of water were turned out of their course, and the roar of the lions was heard out of the wilderness, and all nations feared greatly. |
| 1:19.6 | So powerful was the word of Enoch, and so great was the power of the language which God had given him. |
| 1:31.3 | Isn't that amazing? |
| 1:34.2 | Enoch had grown into someone who could speak with power. |
| 1:39.3 | But what's even more extraordinary than, weakness to strength transformation is who was |
| 1:45.7 | behind it. God had given Enoch that strength. Enic was insecure, trusted in the Lord's promise, |
| 1:57.2 | acted on it in some probably terrifying ways, and then the Lord made it a strength for him. |
| 2:05.6 | What a powerful pattern for each of us to follow. |
| 2:10.4 | So the takeaway of the day, in five words or less, God turns weakness to strength. |
| 2:22.3 | Thank you so much for being here today and for coming closer to Christ with me, one minute at a time. |
