Now, I'm going to ask you to reach into the deep, deep recesses of your mind.

Back a couple of episodes, just prior to Omaha PD descending upon Terahode, Indiana,

to visit the Coyote Club, which was the establishment that Anthony Garcia was known to frequent

in order to speak to its employees, owner, and patrons.

To see what if anything, they knew about Anthony Garcia.

It was in that episode that my father, Allison, and myself had made our way to Omaha, Nebraska

for the preliminary hearing in the state's case against Anthony Garcia.

Now before we jump into it, I want you to remember the last, it's your favorite time, it's

my favorite time, wherein we discussed the difference between a preliminary hearing

and a grand jury.

And that is where in a preliminary hearing, a judge must find that there's probably

a probable cause that a crime or crimes were committed, and that it was the defendant

that committed those crimes.

Now if the judge does in fact find that probable cause, as to those two things, does in fact

exist, well, then the defendant is bound over for trial to answer for the crimes that

they are of alleged to have committed.

Now remember, a preliminary hearing amounts to a mini trial, and that is exactly what

you will hear in this episode.
