| 0:00.0 | It's Tuesday, October 29, 2024. |
| 0:07.8 | I'm Albert Mooler, and this is the briefing, a daily analysis of news and events from a Christian worldview. |
| 0:14.0 | Even as most Americans are consumed with the final days of the 2024 presidential election, |
| 0:20.0 | and we will return to that in a moment. The fact is that there is a more |
| 0:25.0 | urgent crisis facing the world and it is not in the United States. It is right |
| 0:29.7 | now in Ukraine and in Russia. The big development is the involvement of about 10,000 |
| 0:36.1 | North Korean troops in Russia's effort to subdue Ukraine. Now you'll remember |

| 1:21.3 | invader holding a lot of Ukrainian territory. |
| 1:24.6 | Ukraine has also invaded Russia, although it appears to be losing some of the territory |
| 1:29.1 | it had gained. |
| 1:30.6 | That was largely a symbolic action. The fact is that Russia is a much larger |
| 1:35.0 | nation. Its military is vastly larger than Ukraine and even as Russia has |
| 1:40.1 | allies, so does Ukraine. |
| 1:42.9 | But the difference here is that the entry of foreign troops |
| 1:46.5 | into the front lines there in Russia's effort |
| 1:49.1 | against Ukraine, that is going to change the entire world |
| 1:51.8 | picture. And I want us to step back for a moment and just |
