We have kind of a slow news day, so we're actually going to start with an interesting

story that might not have been on our radar yet.

Let's go back to 2016 when a contractor at the NSA named Reality Winner, yes that

is her real name, I'm not referring to someone who got engaged on the bachelor.

Anyway, while she was working at the NSA, Reality Winner leaked a classified document

that described Hacksby Russian Intelligence in the 2016 election against local officials

in the US and a company that sold software related to voter registration.

So she ended up in prison for that leak, and activists and her family have been campaigning

to have her release since the Trump administration, though we obviously was not going to release

someone who leaked a document that called his own victory into question.

This story really turned around yesterday when Reality Winner was released from prison

into a halfway house due to good behavior, though she still has not technically been

pardoned, and the government will also continue to restrict her public comments.
