This weekend, Ronan Farrow and Gia Tolentino released bombshell reporting in the New Yorker

about the realities behind Britney Spears' conservatorship, including how her father

Jamie Spears, along with her management team, created the conditions for the conservatorship.

They also detailed the extent of their restrictions, and some of Britney's known efforts to retain

her own legal counsel, and that she called 911 to report herself as a victim of conservatorship

abuse the night before her hearing a few weeks ago.

You may have heard this weekend that the Gulf of Mexico was on fire.

The cause of these terrifying images was the burst of a gas pipeline belonging to the

oil company Pemex.

The fire, which was close to an oil platform, took more than five hours to put out, though

no injuries or evacuations of the facility were reported.

Pemex actually has a long record of major industrial accidents at its facilities, but they said

it would investigate the cause of the fire and that they had shut the valves of the pipeline.

On Friday, a Russia-linked hacking group called the Rebellgang, Sick Name Bro, compromised

roughly 200 businesses in a large-scale ransomware attack that is ongoing.
