Obviously the biggest one at the moment is the shooting at the Trump rally.

Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania, a 20-year-old man

named Thomas Matthew Crooks fired the shots, grazing the former

president's ear. The shooter lost his life as well as a former fire chief

named Corey Comperdoor. He was trying to save his family when he was shot at least two others were injured.

The FBI has said that he acted alone this shooter as they continue to investigate his background.

President Biden, as well as other political leaders around the world, have been very

outspoken, condemning political violence of any kind.

President Biden actually ordered an independent review of the security measures at the rally.

There have been a lot of questions about the secret service and the handling of security

at the event, people wondering how this could have even happened, and it's being reported

that Biden and Trump had a quick phone call following the shooting.

Former President Trump arrived in Milwaukee yesterday where later this week he's expected to speak

and formally accept the nomination at the Republican National Convention, which gets started today.

It was a dark day for the country and it will continue to be a major story for quite a while as we get more information.
