here are today's top stories it's Tuesday may 14th breaking news on Boeing this afternoon

the justice department has determined that Boeing violated settlement that allowed the company to avoid criminal prosecution.

This has to do with two deadly crashes involving its 737 max aircraft.

Violating the agreement means the Justice Department could criminally charge Boeing.

It is not clear whether the government will prosecute the manufacturing giant.

Prosecutors will tell the court no later than July 7th how they plan to proceed.

People who make the least amount of money in unincorporated King County will soon get a bump.

Today, the King County Council approved a new minimum wage of $20.29 an hour.

Thomas Reinhardt co-owns a pizza chain in East King County. He told the council a pay hike could mean cutting staff or hours. It's not about me. It's not about my business partners. It's about the people

who work for us. And this bill as written is it's going to decimate their income. There's no other way to say it.
