Hey, good morning. It's Patricia Murphy. It's Wednesday. This is Seattle now. Seattle Public Schools is having

some big money problems and enrollment is dropping. To help, the district is considering

closing 20 elementary schools. That would have ripple effects across the city. Coming up,

we'll find out how shuttering schools could help solve the district's budget issues and how it

It's getting harder to spot images and media generated through artificial intelligence.

A bill proposed by Congressman Derek Kilmer, who represents the Olympic Peninsula, would make using AI deception in political ads illegal.

If passed, it would protect federal candidates from the use of deceptive AI-generated audio,

images, or videos in political advertisements.

A new behavioral health teaching hospital opens today at the UW Medical Center.

The facility will provide 150 much-needed

mental health care beds and multiple inpatient programs. It will also educate medical providers

going into behavioral health fields through a workforce training program. And don't be deceived by the
