in the core for, but I'm going to apologize in advance for my first update today.

Good morning and welcome to the morning show podcast. My name is Anthony. I'm Carla Marie and today is Tuesday, April 9th, 2024.

The Core 4. The four headlines you need to know. That is it. I've had it. I'm done. We need to fire every single one of them.

Who am I talking about, you ask? I'm talking about our historically useless members of the House of

Representatives. Let me explain. Last year, representatives in the House were so useless that they passed a historically low number of bills.

In fact, the last time our House of Representatives was this useless was during the Civil War, which it's honestly

excusable considering 10% of this country was busy killing each other.

But that was last year.

This year, it took the House

four months to figure out how to fund our federal government, which is literally the most important

thing that they do in the House. But then last week, our elected officials reached a new low.

It all started at the end of March when House Republicans, who could have been

doing like anything else with their time, decided that they wanted to introduce a bill to rename

the Washington, D.C. Airport, Donald Trump International. And then their counterparts on the left

decided to be equally useless when they introduced a bill to name a prison in South Florida after Donald Trump.

Now, obviously, that bill was a rebuttal to the airport naming, but it's all silly.

And as silly as these bills are, what we have to remember is that these politicians are getting paid with our tax

dollars to sit around and do ridiculous things like this. And listen, if everything in America
