Hey, friends, First Kings chapter 16, as you know, we are in, well, we're really at the end of the chapter.

We're in verse 29.

And I promised you last episode that we would begin to talk about this man by the name of

Ahab.

And Ahab is just, he's one of those guys that when you think about his name, you immediately

think about, wow, evil or bad.

And it really fits the theme of our series, where we've called it

the good, the bad, and the ugly. And it's pretty sad when you start bad and you finish bad.

And that's really the ugly story of Ahab. But there is much good that we're going to learn as we kind of wend our way

through his life. Now, what's that? That's the ministry of Elijah. So against the backdrop of the

evil time and the evil reign of Ahab, and really Ahab's kids, Ahaziah and Jurem, they're just like their dad.
