And today folks, we are Rewinding Back June 7th 2012.

Why they say it that way? I don't know. I just felt like it. You know, you got to try to lure people in somewhere.

Another, we're doing a Rewind episode today. We're going back to June of 2012.

By now people realize that when 2012 came, the Mayans were not going to come back from the grave

and take over the souls of the living because there was actually some fear about the year 2012 leading up to it.

It wasn't actually a bad thing for the show, but I remember saying in mid 2011,

if you're looking to buy some shit, check Craig's list about January or February next year,

and that prophecy as like many that have been on TSP came to pass.

I don't think it really prophecies, by the way.

Prophecies are divinely inspired. Nothing I've ever said was going to happen was divinely inspired.

Rather, what I've said was going to happen was by reading the tea leaves,

and the tea leaves were actually just the facts on the ground.

So looking at the past, what happened before when shit like this aligned?

Where did it lead? How did it end up?

And then, you know, when people have like crazy fantasies about some rock telling them the earth is going to end,

probably not going to happen.

Anyway, this episode, in a way, is one of those prophecies, or a reading of the tea leaves,
