And today folks we are rewinding back to April the 21st, 2011.

This was originally episode 648 reaching the unreachable, which means I accidentally lied to you yesterday.

I said yesterday show was the oldest in the mix. I guess when I made the list, I got one and two out of order.

So this one's just a few days earlier with a couple episodes from 2011 in this rewind series.

It was called reaching the unreachable and it's because I get emails and I still do this day do even 12 years later.

You know, I get emails as my blank just doesn't get it.

I've tried explaining blank blank and blank and they still don't think there's any reason to have a preparedness plan.

What else can I say to reach them? And on some levels it's easy to write people off.

And in some instances, maybe you should, I do think there's a good tactic whenever you're trying to evangelize an idea of planting seeds and walking away.

And then letting people see what happens and then hopefully what happens is minor and they think I wish I would have listened to Bill when Bill told me I should probably have a plan for if the power goes out.

Or when Bill told me I should have a little lecture food on hand and now I'm stuck in for a week.

I'm not eating my big toe yet, but I'm thinking about it. So maybe I need to not let this happen again.

But when I was picking these out, I thought of something that like I want to say to mitigate this.

So I want you to take what I have to say to heart. I want you to try to continue to reach people about preparedness far more than I do about politics.

Because one of my tenants in today's episode is that it's not a political issue.

Prepping is not Republican or Democrat or Neocon or authoritarian.

Like prepping is something you should be doing no matter what system of government you live in, no matter how stable things are things go wrong.
