Hey friends welcome back to the morning mindset. I hope you're ready to get your mind

aligned with the truth of God's Word. If you are one of those people who emails me fairly

frequently to tell me how the morning mindset has affected you, thank you. I'm thankful

God is using it in your life but I want to challenge you to stop for a moment and think

about someone in your life who could use the same kind of challenge and encouragement

and equipping that you've been receiving. If you can think of that person pause right

now and send them a text, send them an email, do something to let them know about the morning

mindset. You could change their life eternally. You really could depending on the circumstance

so I want to encourage you to do that. Okay today we're going to be looking at Proverbs

chapter 23 and the passage that we're going to consider is verse number 23. Solomon writes

this advice to his son and us as the readers of this holy passage it says buy truth and

do not sell it. Buy wisdom, instruction and understanding. I think it's really interesting

that Solomon places this admonition to value truth and wisdom and instruction and understanding

into the context of a purchase. He's trying to get us to think of things of value. He's

trying to get us to think what are the things you're willing to spend your hard earned

money on? What are the things that are important to you? We all would say things like food

and clothing, maybe an education, you know going to college or something like that. We

might say an automobile or house somewhere to live. I mean those things obviously are

things we're willing to spend money on. Why? Because they provide us a benefit, something

of value that we need in our lives. Well Solomon's taking that concept and he is saying

buy truth. So in other words, hold truth in high regard. Think of it as something very
