John chapter 13, verse 7.

Jesus answered him, what I am doing, you do not understand now.

But afterward, you will understand.

Wow.

This verse is so good.

And it applies in a particular way here in John 137 to Peter as Jesus is washing Peter's feet or expressing a desire to do that.

Peter's saying, you'll never wash my feet.

And Jesus looks at him and he says, you don't understand what I'm doing right now, but one day

you're going to understand.

And that truth applies in so many different ways, doesn't it?

In our lives, like there are many things that God does in our lives that we don't understand.

But just think about this reality. Jesus looking into Peter's eyes saying, you don't understand. But just think about this reality. Jesus looking into Peter's eyes saying,

you don't understand now, but one day you'll understand. And I just think about all the hard things

that we may walk through in our lives here. And one day we're going to be in heaven.
