John chapter 11, verse 25, Jesus said to her,

I am the resurrection and the life.

Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live. I almost need to say

nothing after reading that verse. One of the simplest, most powerful expressions of the hope we have

in Jesus. He is the resurrection and the life. He is life forever.

Just let that soak in in a fresh way in your life today. You have life now and life forever in Jesus.

Obviously, this is specifically referring to you if you have trusted in Jesus as the Savior

and Lord of your life.

If that is true, if you have put your faith in the one who died on the cross

for your sin, to free you from sin and its power and its penalty forever, the one who has risen

from the grave in victory over sin and death. You have life now and life forever in Jesus. I think about a couple

in our church family, and I'll just speak generally because I've not asked this particular person

for permission to share the details of their story, But this couple, the wife, has been a
