President Donald Trump landed in North Carolina today with some very harsh words for the Federal Emergency Management Agency. I think, frankly, FEMA is not good. I think when you have a problem like this, I think you want to go,

and whether it's a Democrat or Republican governor,

you want to use your state to fix it and not waste time calling FEMA.

He also said he may get rid of the agency altogether.

CNN's Jamie Gangel spoke to CNN's Dana Bash about the potential impact that could have.

Look, if a state could handle a catastrophe,

then you might not need FEMA,

but that is not in the nature of a catastrophe.

They need this kind of help.

There's something else about strings attached

and things being politicized.
