We start with some news out of New York a short time ago,

where an appeals court has thrown out President Donald Trump's nearly half billion dollar civil fraud penalty.

The National Weather Service is issuing warnings all along the East Coast from Florida to Maine,

as Hurricane Erin roughs up seas hundreds of miles from its center.

Tropical storm warnings are in effect in parts of Virginia and Maryland, where the Category

2 hurricanes sent some tropical storm force wind gusts of

40 to 45 miles per hour this morning.

North Carolina's outer banks are bearing the brunt of Hurricane Erin, with Highway 12

closed due to floods, sand and debris.

As it moves north today, parts of New Jersey, Delaware, and other northeastern states could experience

major coastal flooding.
