President Trump leaves for China this afternoon for what may end up being his most important trip of the year. When the leaders of the world's two largest economies hold their first face-to-face

talks in more than six months. It also marks the first state visit to China from a U.S.

president since 2017 when Trump was first in office. The trip was initially postponed,

you'll remember, because of the war with Iran, and also now risks being overshadowed by it.
