Overall, 76% of Americans call cost of living issues the biggest economic problem, with only a third

of Americans saying they could comfortably afford paying $1,000 for an emergency expense.

This poll just underlines the fact that there are major warning signs flashing red for President

It found that 77% of Americans say that Trump's policies have

increased the cost of living in their own community, and that includes a majority of Republicans.

We're really still dealing with sort of a post-COVID economy, and even while some structural

people are not feeling it in terms of what they're paying and in terms of their feeling secure

30% approved. That is a record low across his entire time in public life. Why this matters, economy

The reasons for that frustration range from rising food, gas, and housing prices to the impact of years of inflation.

And in fact, for the first time in three years, Americans' wages are no longer outpacing inflation.

The latest inflation report out today shows prices rose 0.6% in the last month,

pushing the annual rate to 3.8%, the highest since May 2023.
