Swarms of Russian drones have plunged parts of Ukraine into darkness overnight,

by targeting power facilities and impacting millions of homes across the country.

Authorities say at least six people have been killed.

It comes as hopes of an upcoming meeting between President Donald Trump

and Russian leader Vladimir Putin fizzle out. Here's what Trump had to say about the talks

being put on hold yesterday. I don't want to have a wasted meeting. I don't want to have a waste

of time, so I'll see what happens. That's a big U-turn from Trump, who said just days ago

that a meeting could happen in the next

two weeks or so.

Yesterday, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitri Pezkov said the summit can't be postponed

because no date was ever set.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian president for Lodemir Zelenskyy says that Russia, quote, became less

interested in diplomacy after the U.S. refused

to provide Ukraine with long-range tomahawk missiles, at least for now.

All I know is that they would owe me a lot of money, but I'm not looking for money.
