We'd like to get right into it and what we're going to get into today is very, very simple.

Let's call it Trump Overkill.

You're probably very familiar with this.

Now, this week, with great fanfare, the House Democrats, January 6th Committee call it

the House Democrats, January 6th Committee because every member was chosen by the

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.

The Committee formally sent to the Justice Department for criminal referrals targeting

former President Donald Trump.

Now the Committee members, again, all of them, you know that it includes two Republicans,

but all were picked by Speaker Pelosi.

They want the Justice Department to investigate and prosecute Trump for one obstruction of

an official proceeding, this relates to, of course, January 6th and Congress's meeting

to certify the electoral college results.

One, obstruction of an official proceeding.

Two, conspiracy to defraud the United States.

Three, conspiracy to make a false statement.

And four, inciting, assisting or aiding and comforting an insurrection.

Okay.

Those are the four criminal charges that the House January 6th Committee says it has

ample evidence to show that Donald Trump is guilty of in relation to the Capitol riot

on January 6th.
