Hello and welcome to the Byron Yorkshire No-Chit Chat Podcast.

We like to get right into it and what we're going to get into today is the situation on

the border, which I mean in any other world would be the biggest story in the country right

now for day after day after day.

And we're going to talk, I mean there's so many things you could talk about on the

border situation, but we're going to talk specifically about something you might not have

heard about, which is that most Americans do not know.

They have no idea how bad the border crisis is.

They literally do not know.

Okay, so first of all, this week might mark maybe the most consequential development on

the US-Mexico border since January of 2021 when Joe Biden became president and essentially

opened the door to millions of illegal border crossers.

This week, Title 42 is supposed to expire.

Now courts are involved, might be delayed, it's not going to last forever.

Title 42 is the Trump era measure that allows the US government to quickly return illegal

border crossers, return them to Mexico on the grounds of preventing the spread of COVID.

It's an emergency measure and it's going to expire.

Now after that, officials expect a flood of illegal crossers.

Now you have to remember the Biden administration was not using Title 42 to stop everybody.

They were the majority of people who crossed the border illegally were being allowed to stay

even with Title 42 and without Title 42, there's no reason at all they're going to send

anybody back.
