David, last week you explained to listeners here at the press box how you intend to vote

on November 3rd.

Turns out a few of our listeners had some concerns.

What I want to know is would you like to clarify your position, Mr. Shoemaker?

Oh, I appreciate the opportunity, Brian.

It turns out I probably should have been spending less time painting dining rooms and installing

laminate floors and more time actually investigating how one votes as a new resident in the state

of New Jersey.

It's not as I previously claimed votes are not counted by wonko vision.

So I just want to make that clear.

No, I said that I was going to vote in person because I had been sufficiently scared into

that state by our president.

There was a part of me and my wife as well that we knew was a little bit irrational or

a lot of rational, but we felt like it was our sort of doing our civic duty.

As many people, many listeners pointed out to me and I want to just up front thank Phil

Swabinski, who I think is doing work for the New Jersey Democratic Party, John Schuman,

Dan Braci, Theresa Bolano, Daniel Cain, all these people pointed out, helpfully wrote

into point out to me that all all voting in New Jersey, all the all kind of first ballot

voting is by mail.

And if you go in person, you can cast a ballot, but it will be considered a provisional

ballot until they've confirmed that you did not also vote by mail.

So going in person doesn't really do anything.
