in in in in in civilized tones, does anybody hear it? I don't I honestly, it's like I was

so expecting to have the my opening statement gift wrapped for me by Donald Trump that I don't

know exactly what to say right now. It was a relatively, I don't know, conventional debate.

It felt like exactly what kind of like a computer algorithm would have generated going into this

campaign. And I'm not I mean, honestly, I think it was if we want to get to the you know, the silly

horse race, he's tough. I mean, I think it was sort of a toss up to use a phrase. We love

here at the press box. I think that's right. I think this was what a semi normal Donald Trump debate

would look like by which I mean, he's still like crazy. He was still identifiably Donald Trump.

But he just let Joe Biden talk more, right? Yeah. That was essentially what tonight's debate was.

It's funny because we heard all week, a red all week that Donald Trump's advisors were saying

let Biden talk because if you let him talk, he'll tie himself in knots verbally. And he won't be

able to just talk for 90 minutes without making a big gap. And you Donald Trump will not be disqualified

immediately as you're interrupting him all the time. Donald Trump basically tried to execute

that strategy tonight. And as we get into this, we'll sort of we can debate whether Joe Biden

gave him enough to work with. But that was a strategy and that's what Donald Trump did tonight.
