Because I was researching an episode of LA in a minute and I stumbled upon this fact.

Los Angeles is the serial killer capital of the world. I repeat

Now I'm going to dive into the gruesome and horrifying history of serial killers in Los Angeles going all the way back to the very

first identified serial killer in LA almost a hundred years ago.

And since then, more than two dozen have followed in his footsteps.

So why is LA the serial killer capital of the world?

Let's get into it. So there have been at least 22 serial killers that have killed in Los Angeles. I say at least because that's

all we know of. 19 identified serial killers and three unidentified. Now the identified include the obvious notorious ones.

Richard, the Knight Stalker Ramirez, the Hillside Strangler, which was actually two Hillside

Stranglers, Kenneth Bianchi and Angelo Buono.
