Summary

Lo is joined by one of his closest friends and fellow true crime junkie, king Jacob Petway for a deep dive into the Gilgo Beach murders. The Gilgo Beach serial killings were a series of murders between 1996 and 2011 in which the remains of up to 18 people were found in Gilgo Beach, on the South Shore of Long Island. Most of the known victims were sex workers who advertised on Craigslist. DNA evidence was tested on the remains and an architect named Rex Heuermann was charged with 3 of the murders. As the case unfolds, police are testing more DNA evidence on the unidentified remains discovered. Rex Heuermann's wife and 2 children had no idea a monster was living amongst them. Lo and Jacob breakdown the case and speak candidly about psychos, serial killers and secrets.

months ago. Anyway, I wasn't thinking about COVID since that moment. It wasn't on my radar, especially with summer and it's beautiful outside. Again, it just wasn't something I was concerned about. And then Lexi and I recorded that Barbie podcast and she had flown to Nashville and then come back and we recorded that night. I remember that. And she said,

oh, I just feel a little, you know, congested. It's probably sinuses. She just wasn't feeling that great. By the next day, I was hit with COVID. My little contagion Barbie got me with it. And she was sick

too, which sucks for both of us. And so I was down for a solid six days. Four of those days was pretty bad for me.

I had the room spins, the little teeth chattering that felt terrible. And my voice was gone.

Oh my God. It just was bad. And so I took Paxlovid, Paxlovid. I don't know how to pronounce it.

And then I also, once I was testing negative, I did infrared sauna.
