One of the things that grabbed my attention about World War II is the fact that Japan was the only country

0:08.9

that attacked the homeland in the United States. On December 7th, 1941, when the Air Force bombed per harbor in Hawaii,

0:20.1

it was the first attack on the homeland. From that moment on,

0:25.5

the U.S. and Japan became engaged in what is primarily a naval war, but not exclusively,

0:32.9

because slowly but surely the U.S. kept creeping into the Pacific Islands and getting closer and closer to the Japanese mainland.

0:44.1

And yet, while their war machinery almost devastated, they would not surrender.

0:52.6

The Americans and the allies were almost at their doorstep, but they will never give up.

0:58.6

They continued fighting. The leaders of the U.S. at that time made the decision that the only way to end the war and bring it to an end is to drop atomic bombs on the mainland of Japan. And with that, the war is over.

everything to an end. We saw in the last message how God demonstrated his power, not over the

1:52.9

Egyptian necessarily, but over the gods of Egypt. As I said, there are storefronts of Satan.

1:58.5

And finally, God defeated all of the false gods of Egypt by killing the most powerful

2:05.7

God of all. No, not what we saw on the last message, the Osiris, or Neo, the gods of the

2:13.8

Nile, or Gibb, the God of the Land, or Ra, the God of the Sun, or Hecquette,

2:18.3

or Apis, or Horus, or Amon, or all the thousand sub-gods that they had.

2:24.7

This final blow came against Pharaoh himself, the incarnation of Ra, the sun god.

2:33.5

And that is why when Pharaoh's firstborn son died, the future God

2:40.3

is dead. And that is why Yahweh's victory became total and complete over Satan's storefront in

2:48.1

Egypt. Just again, a reminder that we're in the middle of this series,
