treasure in heaven. Jesus wants you to be rich. Truly he does, but rich in what matters to God, not men. The problem lies in the domain of trust. Too few trust his good desires for us.

In his sermon on the mount, he teaches us,

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth

where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steel.

But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in or steal.
