Okay, welcome to our Rosary, Dr. Troy Henkel, here tonight with Team Shriner, actually, today, when you're hearing this Rosary.

So let us begin by calling to mind that we were ever in the presence of Almighty God in whom we live and move and have our being.

We call upon him in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. I've gotten a lot of emails and text today for prayer requests and I want to pray for everybody because I recognize so many people need prayers.

So we're gonna pray for Patrick Schreiner.

For Lauren Traymont, who's been diagnosed with lymphoma,

she lives in North Carolina.

For Rudy Swanson, Randy Swanson, who needs a new heart.

For Olivia, whose surgery is on September 20th,

and for Luke Tommich, her good doctor,

good doctors need prayers to. For Susan, for Rebecca, for Jack Oxley's dad, Jack works with me.

For Sheila Miller, and for the folks of Houston in Baton Rouge

Tonight's theme, today's theme,

how to drive out evil. Today's meditation. today's

meditation continues themes from the sermon on the mount

examining our Lord's teaching on fasting.

To underscore the importance of fasting, I want to connect this teaching in Matthew's

gospel to Mark's Gospel chapter 9, particularly to a passage that is prophetic for America at this time.

In Mark chapter 9 verse 17, a father says to Jesus,

teacher, I brought my son to you for he has a dumb spirit,
