Hi guys, welcome back to anything goes.

I'm Emma Chamberlain, your host, and I am a Chamberlain in the host of the podcast,

Anything Goes, and welcome back.

I have recorded the intro to this podcast 15 times because every time I recorded it feels

awkward, and I think the reason why is because I decide to say my full name every time I record

the intro, and I hate saying my full name, it makes me so uncomfortable for some reason.

It just feels super unnatural, but I feel inclined to do it in the intro of these podcasts

because it makes things feel professional, it makes things feel official, and I crave

that, you know, that legitimacy, right?

Because a lot of the things I do in my career are very casual.

And every once in a while I like a little bit of professional, I like a little bit of

the sophisticated professional feeling to come from my content, and it never works.

And there's a reason why.

And so I'm just going to stop trying to force a fancy intro in the beginning of each of

these episodes.

You guys don't care, and you know you're listening too.
