about you and what got you into perfumery and kind of paved this way.

Yeah, so I'll try to keep it as short as possible.

I got my start in the beauty industry actually straight out of college.

I was in design school and my final project in design school I decided to do a collection of fictitious hair care and I invited a bunch of people from the industry. I grew up in Southern California and big surprise one of the actual people from the industry showed up and that night offered me a job and long story short I ended up dropping out of school and going to work for this very large hair care company as a junior art director and spent from 20 to 30 working traveling living in Germany working very closely with the artistic team and the laboratories and on this journey I really fell in love with fragrance but

fragrance is something that has been very much a part of my life since I was a child. My mom was an avid gardener and it's always something that has been a very profound element in my life that I have felt that there's so much storytelling around it and it's such a wonderful mysterious product that I really felt that it was the perfect vehicle for me as an artist and also as a business person to venture into.

I always find fragrance to such an interesting, you know,

area of beauty, wellness, and this whole, I guess,

conglomerative industries that we work inside of, because I feel like it's the most magical.
