Hey guys, welcome back to the speaker and our video this episode is very special because if any of you have been following us for a few years, then you know that one of my favorite awards that we give out is science of skin. This is the

one that is the closest to my heart because it's so science focused. It's no

BS and there's only 10 awards that we give out every year to 10 brands across the industry of skin care.

And so I'm really excited to dive into these brands with you guys and tell you why I personally love them.

Now there are many factors, keep in mind that went into why we

decided to pick these brands. There was a whole you know process that was in place and

everything was looked at you know when it comes to really not only the science from a theoretical sense, but also the application of that science and if it's translating into results for consumers.

And so, you know, with that out of the way, I want to make sure that you guys understand that these awards are extremely

extremely curated and there are awards that mean a lot to me as a scientist because when I first started skincare anarchy I wanted options you know that was why I started the

podcast and I to this day every time I interview an amazing brand I'm always just baffled by how much innovation is in the skin care space and how much more is coming.

So with all of that in mind, let's dive in.

So the first brand on the list is Allies of Skin.

Now this brand really blew me away.

When I first discovered Allies of Skin, I was like, wow,

this is, I mean, this is new, you know, and it actually reaffirmed my strong belief in why we need products that are

multi-factorial, multi-use and are actually created in a way where the formula makes sense from the dosing perspective and the percentages of which ingredient is used, especially when it comes to active.

So with allies of skin, you will see and notice if you go to their website and check out their products

you'll notice the brand is very heavily focused on creating these beautiful cocktails that

allow for every single product to be very heavy hitting in the best way without irritating your skin.

For example, I personally love their overnight product.

It's a multi-acid product with retinaldaldehyde in it, and the percentages that are included are perfect because, you know, the formulation has the retinaldide, it has the acids, but then it also has antioxidants in there in a really

jam-packed way to where if you think about it, when you're doing what you're doing to your skin
