November 13th, 2003. I am joined by my good buddy, Ryan Boyer. It's been a quiet offseason so

far, but that doesn't mean we don't have things to talk about. We had a couple managerial

hiring since we did our last show, me and that, I think his name's

Andrew Silbert or something like that.

We did a show together, joined by the better of the three.

Like the three of us who've been doing this, I'm joined by the better of the three.

Let's just be honest.

But we will talk about the rookie of the year, which unsurprisingly was not close.

We'll talk about those couple of managerial decisions.

And then we're going to go over some players who could be on the trade deadline,

maybe that we kind of want to be on the trade deadline,

and look at some teams that maybe makes sense.

But let's start with that rookie of the year, Ryan.

Unanimous in both leagues.

It is not common that this happened.

We did see it happen.

I believe in 2017 was the last with Judge and Bellinger.

And before that, it was 1997.

I don't have those names in front of me because, you know what?

I'm just not that good at this. But I do know that it's not terribly common.

I'm not surprised at all.
