way too long since I had my buddy Chris Welsh on, but had been saving him for an Arizona

Fall League episode, and that's exactly what we got in store for you today. Chris, how you doing?

What is up, James?

The only sad thing about this show is that I didn't get to see you in person a week ago,

last week. That's the only sad thing that we're not doing this after just spending time

and, you know, drinking the beverages and watching the prospects together.

Yeah, man, it's always a bummer when I can't make it out there,

but it seemed like there was a pretty good contingent

from the fantasy baseball world out there this past weekend.

You know, man, it just, I think we're kind of living in a new reality

with the AFL where, you know, we're going to have to be excited about guys who are sort of, you know, fringe top 15, fringe top 25 type of prospects.

The days of the best of the best being out there seem to be over.

At least, you know, the best of the best might go out

there before they're the best of the best last year's lowest OPS in the AFL was Jason

Dominguez so we still have some pretty exciting prospects out there, but they may not perform that way.

But I don't know.

Did you have any thoughts about just this year?

Maybe just kind of this being sort of the new normal.

I know we kind of touched on it a little bit last year.

Yeah, I think this is the new normal.

Unfortunately, I actually had a lot of people. A couple of people I don't think were plenty of people. I mean, I'm like a tune to the AFL specifically. Guys like you and I are tuned to like just the prospect world. But people that are maybe fringe on both sides were kind of like, hey man, you know, just kind of seems like a little bit lower of an AFL than normal.
