two weeks ago at this time before Craig Counsel was announced as the 56th manager of the Chicago Cubs.

I mean, it's a nice day in Chicago and it's 60 degrees for some reason, which probably is a

harbinger of doom on some other level, but it's lovely to see the sun in November and just happy to be here.

And yeah, it's a nice day here in Madison, Wisconsin as well.

So what's your mindset?

You mentioned the Craig Council hiring.

We can talk about that in a bit more detail, but just kind of what's your mindset

as a Cubs fan as we kind of head into 2024. You know, I'm cautiously optimistic. So given the

state of the division, I think the Central is a winnable division. And I, the Cubs were one win

away from making the playoffs in 2023. Now, that said, they've had a lot of turnover and they definitely have some roster holes to fill.

But the council move indicates to me that they are going to make some of those moves.

I highly doubt they get him to move from Milwaukee to Chicago without some assurances that they're in in the short term.

And so I am, I'm optimistic.
