Welcome to the Powell Movement.

I'm your host, Mike Powell, and this week it's more of the same pandemic life for all.

I know I've been letting you know what I've been up to during this boring

as shit time in life, and I'm going to continue to do so. Regular listeners know that my family and I

have been doing the quarantine thing for about five weeks now. Holy crap. I've been to three

public places since this thing started. The green store twice and I had a root canal early on in this process.

Unfortunately for me, I still need more dental work and I can't have it done for at least another month.

My dentist said that if I'm in really bad pain or if my gums swell a bunch, I should call him

or go to the emergency room. That sucks and I'm really bummed on this because I shouldn't be

having these problems. I go to the dentist twice a year and they mark the teeth that need to be

watched, and then they fill them if they need it. So I do proper maintenance. But my problem these

days is that I have a brand new young dentist who keeps fucking up my mouth. I mean, I went to the dentist in December to have a

cleaning, which turned into a crown and then a filling. I get the work done and the filling

was too high, so I went through four different adjustments and my dentist still wasn't able to

fix my pain. So he sent me over to the endodonist instead. I go to the endo early on in the pandemic,

and I find out that the first cavity I had filled

should have been a root canal from the beginning.

And the crown that I had built, well, that should have been a root canal too.

And to add insult to injury, that cavity that was filled and it was sitting too high,

well, it cracked the tooth below, so now that

tooth will either have to be pulled or it'll need a root canal and a crown. Man, I miss my old
