Welcome to the Powell Movement.

I'm your host Mike Powell, and this week, like every week since we've been on lockdown,

0:19.0

I'm going to start the show with more talking than normal,

0:21.9

because obviously, shit is not normal. If you're a regular listener, you've heard me complain about

0:27.9

seeing way too many people at the beach here in Seattle, and thinking to myself, well, all of those

0:33.2

idiots are going to get sick and some will die. I'm not sure I'm totally wrong about that.

0:38.1

Some of those people will get sick and some will die.

0:41.2

But that was two weeks ago.

0:42.8

And while some folks didn't change their behaviors, most of us stayed the fuck home.

0:48.2

And based on the numbers here in Seattle, it looks like it's working.

1:11.2

1:16.5

lives will be lost because of that. But not all of us have that belief. I've been having a bunch

1:21.7

of conversations with my dad lately. He recently had his knee replaced, and I wanted to make sure he was

1:26.8

good.
