Summary

Alana Nichols' title, President of the Women's Sports Foundation, is pretty impressive but the road she took to get to that big desk will blow your mind.  From losing her dad, to growing up with her grandparents, to breaking her back, to a dark place, to gold medal position at the Paralympics, nothing has ever been easy for Alana…And that has never stopped her from doing anything.  Her story is incredible, a must listen. ace, to gold medal position at the Paralympics, nothing has ever been easy for Alana…And that has never stopped her from doing anything.  Her story is incredible, a must listen.

I'm your host Mike Powell, and it's another quarantine episode of the show,

0:19.3

which means another long intro about nothing,

0:21.9

really, because that's what most of us are up to. For me, I work from home as it is, so the

1:24.4

regular regimen that I haven't done since my last knee surgery,

1:28.5

regular exercise. We have a Peloton bike, and for the past two weeks, I've been going on a ride

1:33.6

in different cities each morning. And here's what I found out so far. One, it's not that fun.

1:39.3

Two, podcasts can make you help forget that you're even exercising. Three, I don't feel like as big a piece of shit as I used to when I exercise.

1:47.7

Four, I may not be losing weight yet, but I'm not gaining it either.

1:52.1

And five, I really have to look like an idiot while I'm in my boxers and flip-flops on the
