Welcome back to Lanction Rouge Cycling podcast for a big wrap up of all the sort of news that have been around the tracks for the last week and half. I feel like we haven't done a podcast in about a year, I've got two to Romandy, two of the Alps, formally called Gerald Trentino, transfer rumors, a Netflix, two to France trailer, drop lots of different things before the year to tell you kicks off in less than a week. My packing, am I supposed to already have started packing? I usually do that two hours before I leave.

The weather here's pretty very old, so I packed between minus two and 30. Wow. I'll survive. I'll figure it out.

I'll survive. You might not, if you sleep outside in minus two, I think you'd die. I can't wait to be back with you, though.

Makes some good content, I feel it'll be good. Anyway, to the Romandy first, it's a six-stage race with a

prologue, two time trials, including the prologue, which is six point out case, and then there's 18.7

kilometre very hilly time trial on stage three. There's one mountain top finish. I've got to be honest.

This race, the reason we didn't cover it daily is because it's in a weird slot in the calendar now,

where the big giro content is, it's way too close to the giro to do it. And in fact, two

younger riders left the race two days early with, was it light possible sickness? Helsinki and

Foss, who are going to the giro, and it's too far away from the tour, for the tour guys to be

tuning up here. They're all about to go to altitude in about 10 days. So it's in a weird spot in the

calendar, but we don't have the big six here. Could there have been maybe a puncture circuit that

would have made one of the stages a little bit better possibly. We do have Hater here, though,

both for the TTs and the climbing sprinty boy sprints, which we have a plenty. But here's the

favorite, I think for stage one, Benji, but it was churny winning the prologue by a second,

they had it all less than a second ahead of Foss. Joseph churny, probably on all of 70 grand,

wins his, that's his second world tour race, because he won the giro,

protest stage, right, when they restarted from a break. He did, you're right. He certainly did.

The thing with churny as well is like, he was a solid charm trollist when he was writing for CCCR

recall that he was writing the VELTA, and it's some good like rolling time trolls. He was good at

those rolling longer time trolls. And when it comes to these shorter prologues, he had completely
