France 2021 brought to you by a lot called one of the craziest grand tour stages. Well, yeah, this is more memorable to me than any of the

zero stages. This was an incredibly long stage 248 Ks the first 150 Ks with pretty much flat no categorized climbs and then they get into

some like three Ks of 5% 4 Ks at 4% 5 Ks at 5% 6 Ks at 6 5 and a half percent on Sydney. I'll do shine the last climb count to but it had to

send in the middle and it's steep at the end one K at like 10 11%. So you need to be a good climator. If you're in the break to really finish this stage ahead,

there's going to roll and climb afterwards. But yeah, finishing in liquor is 0248 Ks. You know, the six hours on the bike, although they finished early today. But yeah, out of the game, Benji off. Remind people,

what we said in the preview and before was an option for Yombo today given that there's no climbs at the start of the stage. So it's really strong,

rude lures who can get in this break. Well, I didn't say it. You said it. It was a full credit to you for the preview podcast with it. When it comes to stage 7, you said that

just to the stage, but if not in the break away, try and put pressure on the team like you a to see how good Beirgin so full of counter a break away. And then it's like like that.

If an artist still closing GC, which was likely after the first week, we just had so that's a very interesting story because let us tell you how to stage and fold it.

We started off actually right from the start. A lot of attacks in the peloton and it was clear that two riders were instantly interested in going in the break away.

At the front, we had your boy vanart trying to get in the break away. And a lot of riders as well. It wasn't directly vanart that tried to go for the initial attack. Just so many attempts like at least 15 to 20 attempts before a final attack actually split up the group after a good 3040 kilometres at an insane pace at the start.

Fifty-five. And it didn't stop from the range.

Oh, crazy. Honestly, crazy. That group that got away included a lot of riders, 29, including a van the pool of an arch, Osgrin, Finchenzo, Nibali, Tom Skwynn, so a teammate for Nibali.

We've got Kronerson, Guerrero, Mohorech, Barclands, Mörisi, which is a teammate of Van the pool, Bonamore, Cortnilsson, Hull, Simon Yates as well, from Poppel, Jolbert,

from Barla, a teammate for Injaus, the only rider from Injaus in the break away, Golon, Van Mour, Laport, Campanard, Stuyven, again a teammate for Nibali. And we've got a few more riders, Mark Gavanish in the Green Jersey, Harry, Swini, we've got Mike,

Conrad, Anna, VT, and that's the full format of the breakaway.

Just a 30-man breakaway. And you won't be asking where were you, AE, why didn't they do anything?

Well, again, it looked like they weren't really ready for it after front, either. I didn't see.
