Again, one of the most exciting stages of this year

at this year at this year at this year at Italian in October. But today's stage was another very difficult stage climbing all day as we said yesterday

there were those three categorized climbs a cat one cat three and cat two not hard

into themselves each of them but collectively in the first 80

kilometers of the stage you know this being 190 kilometers stage quite a lot of

climbing to get done before that intermediate sprint then there was a category three another

category three and then if this last line was taken as a whole I'm sure it would be an

HC climb but they break it up into two sections and don't count the sort of 10

ks of climbing before the neuron. So colden around 4.8 ks at 8.3%

average gradient but that doesn't really tell the true story really steep in the last

I think 2 K's and bonus seconds were on top of there then a plateau then 5.5 K's at

7.5% up the Pimae climb, but again, it gets deep in the last 1,800 meters.

That played a big factor in today's race.

And this sort of profile and where the intermediate sprint was located and where the bonus

seconds were we couldn't really decide yesterday whether it was going to be a

break or whether Yumber Vism were going to really try and control proceedings I think we

were leaning more towards a break that's how I felt when I work up today

but yeah how did that play out Benji and did you think there was any moment where

Yumburg Vizma were actually thinking okay we can control this today so basically at the start of the stage when they left

Chatel Guillaume we saw that plenty of people wanted to go into the breakaway. Basically I think
