0:46.9	Hello and welcome back to day 20 of this 33-day preparation for total consecration to Jesus through Mary here on the Catholic Sprouts podcast.
0:51.7	Today we are starting our third of four sections. In this section, we are going to look
0:57.7	closely at Mary, to understand her better, understand the way that she desires to help us, to bring us
1:06.5	to Jesus, and to dwell with us forever in heaven one day. So to do this, we are going to look at
1:13.8	seven of Mary's titles. Now, she has many more than this. There's many Marian feast days,
1:21.4	and she has titles given to her for apparitions and for all of her traits. But we are going to
1:27.3	look at seven. And these seven
1:29.3	titles help us understand who she is, what she does, how God chooses to use her, how she
1:36.3	cooperates with his grace, and how she desires to be a part of our life. So today we're going to
1:42.7	look at one of the oldest titles that Mary has.
1:46.2	This is a title that was given to her by saints like St. Justin Martyr and St. Iranais,
1:52.0	who lived when the Christians in the world were still being persecuted, so before the 300s.
1:57.6	And this title is the New Eve. The New Eve. Now, chances are you know the creation
2:06.2	story and you know the story of Eve, right? Her and Adam were created. They were perfectly
2:12.9	happy in the garden. They had all of their needs taken care of. They had a perfect relationship,
2:18.4	and they had a perfect relationship with God. And God gave them only one rule that they could
2:24.4	eat from whatever tree they wanted to in the garden, except this one tree, just this one tree.
2:31.9	Now, we, of course, know how the story goes.
