host Mike Milner. Did you know that almost every single case of goal failure is due to a mental roadblock. Almost every single case of not achieving your goal is due to a

mental roadblock. How do we know that? There are thousands of studies on goal achievement. One of the most

recognized was one done out of the University of Scranton, but there have been

thousands of studies on goal achievement and the success rate is pretty

abysmal. About 8% of people who set goals will achieve them.

And here's the mental part that is really shocking.

When participants are setting goals and they are asked about their confidence level in achieving that goal,

their confidence is usually somewhere in the 80% range.

Meaning, most people assume that they're going to reach their goals

when they set a goal.

Most people, 8 out of 10 or more, assume that it will be

accomplished. Now there is a massive disconnect in what we think is going to happen and what actually happens.

Therefore, it would be wise to assess why that disconnect happens,

the mental roadblocks that get in the way of goal achievement.
